[Photo] Minichamps 1/18 - McLaren F1 Road car
Wanting to get extra juice out of the recently created diorama, I decided to take photos with it rather than the studio one-colour backdrop:
This wasn't as easy to do as the 2000GT purely because the light bulb I had wasn't closely matching the colour temperature of the sky in the photo. It was the first time I've ever used the Channel Mixer tool in Photoshop to try to fix it as much as possible.
So far it seem that low angle aside, I don't have many options to shoot from, despite what I initially thought. This does have opening parts, and this is a lackluster model (by my standard), as is most Minichamps I've ever owned. However, this is slated for a repaint project eventually, so that's why I didn't invest too much into capturing the details.

[Photo] TSM 1/18 - McLaren F1 GTR 1995 Le Mans 24 Hours 3rd #51

Didn't learn about the Harrod's livery for longer than I like to think.
However, I do like to think I've liked this yellow-over-green combo since childhood.
For those unaware, this one was made when TSM was still making diecast models. Unfortunately, this one is notorious for quality control issues. Let us hope the damage is minimal!
Looking great, yeah? Nope:
Decals that aren't sticking. Woot.
A TSM with opening parts! Fantastic? Kind of. The decals on the door sill were stuck to the left door upon arrival, meaning that I had ripped off a tiny chunk of the decal just do the door will open. Also doesn't help the hinge on the same door doesn't actually hold the door up unlike the other side. Quality stuff, TSM.
See. Even the the details under the hood are tighter than the AUTOart models I have. The connectors are painted, and there's even metal braided wire! This is the kinda of detailing I want to see in models. No single-tone plastic parts that still have their injection molded seams. But wait! Wait.......
Peeling decals and placements that are off the mark? The nasties strikes again.
