Title: Modern Kicks
Decal: Suji

Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Trail: N/A
Engine: Animus GP
Description: Suji is one of the coolest decals available to date, and I wanted to see what bright colour combos I could create with the coloured Sunbursts I've been collecting.
Title: Annihilator Street Rod
Decal: Suji
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: N/A
Topper: None

Trail: N/A
Engine: Dominus
Description: Would make more sense to use the F&F Charger, but that car's not cool to look at.
Title: Forest Adventurer
Decal: Big Buck
Wheels: Bender
Boost: N/A
Topper: none
Antenna: None
Description: Aimed for a muddy and worn look by colouring the decal brown, and cracking the paint.
Title: Snow Treader
Decal: Vagabond
Wheels: Mountaineer
Boost: N/A
Topper: none
Antenna: None
Description: It'as easy just to set the snow as bright white, but I actually found not doing so give a more natural impression of its finish. Also didn't want a solid red, and rather chose to have fun making a wood finish.
Title: Blue Cat
Decal: Shisa
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: Frostbite
Topper: Cobalt Wildcat Ears
Antenna: None
Engine: OEM-B V2
Description: I developed a dislike for the cat ears early on in my "career" playing this game, because I see people fitting them on cars that didn't go well with the ears. To my luck, these blue ones were dropped on me, and I decided to sample it on the Octane, and now I am quite fond of it. I can't exactly think of a blue cat-earred character, but I can probably imagine there is one with ice-manipulating powers, which is where the Frostbite comes from.

Title: Red Cat
Decal: Shisa
Wheels: Grey Sunburst
Boost: N/A
Topper: Grey Wildcat Ears
Antenna: None
Description: Crimson ears are too saturated, and apparently black & burnt sienna ears don't exist. Never the less I maintained the subtle whites and light greys to not steal all the attention from the red.
Title: Orange/Brown
Decal: Stripes
Wheels: White Sunburst
Boost: N/A
Topper: Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: Colour quest: This is one sample of trying to venture out for different colour combos I don't often use. I'm looking to find some more satisfying colour combos which I can start using in the future. So far, I'm liking the use of brown to sub in for black. It gives the car a softer look while maintain a general level of contrast. A soft orange like this is probably the only colour that I would use brown stripes with.
Title: Pinky Orange
Decal: Stripes
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: N/A
Topper: Cobalt Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: Colour quest: This is one sample of trying to venture out for different colour combos I don't often use. I'm looking to find some more satisfying colour combos which I can start using in the future. This has its ups and downs. The ups is that orange and pink do have a fruitful shimmer when put together. The use of metallic pearl lets the orange have a reddish tint. The only problem is that the pink's value is almost identical to the orange, making it hard to notice at times. The blue bow was put in for contrast, but the blue at times eats up the attention of the pink.
Title: Turquoise/Orange
Decal: Stripes
Wheels: White Sunburst
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: Colour quest: This is one sample of trying to venture out for different colour combos I don't often use. I'm looking to find some more satisfying colour combos which I can start using in the future. This one has received a couple of compliments already. I myself am rather impressed with the right balance of bright orange on a complimentary turquoise. The white wheels seemed to sit in well as a tertiary colour, whereas the grey and black which made the colours pop less and steal the attention.
Title: Pink Dragon
Decal: Dragon Lord
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: Lightning
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: This is just like the Sun-damaged Shisa designs I have, except I tried going brighter this time; not like I could do a sun-damaged Dragon Lord anyway. I really do have a fond attachment to the soft pink this game offers. In combination with the Monza red, the combo has a look that is soft and pleasant on the eyes. Not obnoxious, not high in contrast, but still leaves me content how the pink doesn't stand out too much without being hard to distinguish.
Title: Octane Pink Dragon V1
Decal: Dragon Lord
Wheels: White Sunburst
Boost: Lightning
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Trail: N/A
Engine: Takumi
Description: Wanted to pull away from black wheels for a softer colour set.
Title: Endymion FRS Mk. II (Einhänder)
Decal: ARC
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: Ion Blue(?)
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: Since the Vulcan's form is clearly inspired by futuristic air/spacecrafts, the wings and the decals lend itself the opportunity to aim for existing vehicles from different medias. Einhänder is a childhood favourite, and what I love about this game is how it's under the radar for many people. Shame there wasn't enough white elements on the body to better simulate the colour scheme. It'd be nice to go into custom decals for this reason, but I sure as hell won't have all the spare time to devote that much time into it.
Title: Evangelion Unit-01 (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Decal: ARC
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: Future plane. Future Mecha. It only makes sense too. Plus, it looks better on this than it does on the Masamune.
Title: Garnele (Einhänder)
Decal: Combat
Wheels:
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: The original vehicle is the second mini-boss in Einhänder. Would be nice to have less saturated coloured, but until then I will make do with the corroded metal finish.
Title: SV-51 Gamma Nora (Macross Zero)
Decal: Space Worm
Wheels:
Boost:
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: If I could make fictional planes, I went straight for something out of Macross.
Title: Old Skool Breakout
Decal: Vice
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: Brown rectangular car makes me think of the '80s, and this only makes the Breakout remind me more and more of a Countach. From there it was all about making the presence subtle but mean. So on goes the black Sunburst wheels!
Title: Possessed by the DEMON
Decal: Oni
Wheels: Bender
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: The red headlights inspired the idea of making the car looked like it's under demonic control. The thought of red markings that glow on the skin was likely an influenced idea from a whole bunch of cartoon shows, Street Fighter and Devil May Cry. The image above illustrates the character named Abyss, and the red aura it emits is similar to what I went for with the decal. By going with the darkest possifble base, I can make the red appear that its glowing with the help of the paint finish.
Title: EVA-01
Decal: Stripes
Wheels: Burnt Sienna OEM
Boost: N/A
Topper: Halo
Antenna: None
Description: I like that Unit-01 colour scheme too much. Shame we can't get a duller purple.
Title: Sgt. Backfire
Decal: Stars
Wheels: Trahere
Boost: N/A
Topper: Beret
Antenna: None
Description: Thought of doing a traditional camo since green became an option in September's Rumble update.
Title: Evangelion Unit-01
Decal: DJ Sushi
Wheels: Alchemist
Boost: Thermal Yellow
Topper: Halo
Antenna: None
Description: Those decal shapes around the headlights reminded me of a mecha of some kind, so I gave the Unit-01 a go. Can't say the colours are totally accurate. The purple on EVA-01 is fairly pale, and unfortunately Rocket League doesn't offer low saturated colours as an option. Thankfully the halo makes up for everything.
Title: Evangelion Unit-02
Decal: Otaku
Wheels: Grey Sunburst
Boost: Thermal Green
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: This one was an afterthought. Felt I should've just made another evangelion after EVA-01. Probably could've picked other wheels, couldn't think of a topper or antenna to go with Unit-02, but the only thing I could add was the green boost trail to give it the smallest hint of green the evangelion possesses.
Title: Yakuza Dragon Ride
Decal: Dragon Lord
Wheels: Grey Sunburst
Boost: Money
Topper: Forest Green Homburg
Antenna: None
Description: Got the painted homburg in a drop, tried it on my red dragon Octane and immediately thought of a mob look, so on went the green dragon to match the hat. And what better way to top that off with a trail of money?
Title: 240Z Takumi
Decal: None
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: Loosely based on Wangan Midnight's Fairlady Z with the dark blue paint and black wheels, I wanted to aim for a plain body finish, something I almost never do in the game. If I'm choosing not to rely on decals for a presence, I wanted strong colours to accomplish that instead. Rubber Duckie is only there as a trademark item.
Title: Citrus Takumi
Decal: Gaki
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: Rubber Duckie
Description: Was thinking about how much I've come to like the dark metallic green. No other thought was really put into this other than connecting the yellow with generic lemon lime beverage packaging. The Rubber Duckie is there again for additional touch.
Title: Launch Car Takumi
Decal: Stripes
Wheels: Grey Sunburst
Boost: Thermal Green
Topper: None
Antenna: Rubber Duckie
Description: The red and yellow is inspired from the McLaren F1 GTR Launch Car. I could have went with the Gaki decal to match the "F1 GTR" print on the car's body, but I didn't want yellow canards nor a yellow wing. Red Carbon Fiber also looked super mean on the front end of this car, so it worked its way to becoming its own thing. Green boost looks super swell on a deep red body, and as always the Rubber Duckie is a personal touch.
Title: M4 Takumi
Decal: None
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: Rubber Duckie
Description: Made after completing the 240Z in dark blue. I do like the darkest yellow-green offered for team orange. The colour does remind me of BMW M4's infamous yellow: an awkward and outstanding hue for most cars. I can't say it fits well with the Takumi, but I just wanted to get the idea recorded somewhere.
Title: OG Turquoise Takumi
Decal: Gaki
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: Rubber Duckie
Description: This was one of the first Takumi designs I shelled out. I'm still proud of the choice of colours and the subtle colour-change in the paintjob.
Title: Oversized Cab
Decal: Dots
Wheels: Cristiano
Boost: Toon Smoke
Topper: Taxi
Antenna: None
Description: Easy compliment to a service vehicle is another service vehicle! Thankfully there was a decal that create a two-tone scheme divided across the horizon. The California Yellow Cab sports a look like this.
Title: Plush Bear
Decal: Reiko
Wheels: Zeta
Boost: Hypernova
Topper: None
Antenna: Rubber Duckie
Description: Trying out matte brown as an accent, I'm going for something along the lines of cute Asian cartoon characters I don't know the name of. The character itself is yellow, and his/her accent colour is of a brown, rather than a black. It still gives it contrast, but it's softer. I happened to pick up the Zeta in the same session I made the design, and it gives it a touch of something complimentary, both in hue and value.
Title: Renault Sport RS 1.0
Decal: Crazy 8
Wheels: Tomahawk
Boost: Hypernova
Topper: None
Antenna: Rubber Duckie
Description: After Spoon, I came around to using yellow and grey, idea generated from the Renault. Spyder wheels are more accurate, but these appear bigger.
Title: Store Bought Toy
Decal: Gaki
Wheels: Black Neptune
Boost: Toon Smoke
Topper: None
Antenna: Rubber Duckie
Description: Test car for this colour scheme. Bright orange + bright blue can only remind me of a certain Beyblade top I used to see all the time.
Title: British-inspired Sports Octane
Decal: Stripes
Wheels: Black Neptune
Boost: Standard Blue
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Sound: OEM-C V2
Description: It was probably the Lotus 7 that tugged a heart string that got me to fall in love with a green/yellow colour scheme. Here I try to replicate something to that extent.
Weathered Rides
The regular Rat Rods and sun-damaged finish prompted this theme. Although it's not a favourite, the idea is nice to play around with.
Title: Octane Alien
Decal: Buzzkill
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: Lightning
Topper: Grey Little Bow
Antenna: None
Trail: N/A
Engine: Esper
Description: This is the Fallen God scheme with a tweaked facade. Instead of going for a powered-up beast, I've interpreted the glowing spots to be something more alien. I've keep the base and wheel colours dark to create a more intimidating appearance and topped off the eerie image with the engine sound.
Title: Pirate Adventurer
Decal: Skulls
Wheels: Carriage
Boost: N/A
Topper: Cavalier
Antenna: Parrot
Description: This one came about after the Venom and Paladin designs. The sun-damaged paint is there to grab the sense of a poorly-treated vehicle and the painted skulls in a dulled blood red act to make it all the more terrifying. Wooden wheels help accentuate the rattiness. The use of Cavalier and Parrot became a staple for my rat rod designs.
Title: OG Rat Rod
Decal: Tech
Wheels: Rat Rod
Boost: N/A
Topper: Cavalier
Antenna: Parrot
Description: This is one of the first designs I've ever made. Comparing this to the later Takumi craze, I can say I was certainly over-dressing the car. But it's not gaudy though. In fact, I loved how the rat rods looked on Paladin's shape and dark colour. The red on the wheels went well with the red stitching on the Cavalier, and the Cavalier went with the parrot. It was all sitting well together. The choice of using Tech decals was to both create a grungier look and cover some of the Sun-Damaged texture. The paint finish is great for darkening and killing any shine on the body, but sometimes the paint tears are a bit overdone in my eyes, so covering it up with messy decals worked out.
Title: Zombie Rider V2
Decal: Tagged
Wheels: Carriage
Boost: Candy Corn
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: This is a draft edit of the yellow Zombie Rider (seen below). I went more subtle on the parts and focused more on the dirty paint covered in blood. The decal is meant to be graffiti, but I'm interpreting it as the driver painting it with his victim's blood.
Title: Zombie Rider V1
Decal: Tagged
Wheels: Trahere
Boost: Candy Corn
Topper: Shuriken
Antenna: None
Description: You got a rusty body covered in fresh blood (a bit too fresh). Anyway, the bright red decal matches the red rim on the wheels, and the treaded tires give off a hell aggressive look, so I literally topped it off with a weapon (shame I don't have the chainsaw). I only popped in the Candy Corn since it, of all other cars I have, has the best chance of connecting horror things to Halloween.
Title: Dark Cloud
Decal: Shisa
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: Lightning
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Engine: Takumi
Description: I like the oriental art style. While the Octane does have the Dragon Lord, I am not a fan of animated decals due to the lack of paint finishes to choose from. Sometimes I don't pick a particular finish because I want it to shine a certain way. In fact, often times, I pick the finish to get a specific value of the colour chosen. The animated decals gives something duller than gloss, and that limits a lot of options for me. Acquiring the Shisa became the go-to now, and I've never been any more enthusiastic about using the sun-damaged finish since the Paladin days.
Title: Fallen God
Decal: Shisa
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: Thermal Green
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: I'm hoping the bright blue paves the impression of a powerful force that's waiting to crack through the surface, hence the cracked paint. It also gives off the impression of the Octane having acquired some new power that's coursing through its body, kind of like how Shiro (Fate Stay/Night) hardens his weapons.
Police Enforcer
The regular Rat Rods and sun-damaged finish prompted this theme. Although it's not a favourite, the idea is nice to play around with.
Title: Speed Enforcer Takumi
Decal: Gaki
Wheels: Cristiano
Boost: Polygonal
Topper: Cherry Top
Antenna: None
Description: Felt like trying something with the flashy siren. Didn't like the decals in white, for it would have been too much white or did not give the impression of a police livery, so I went with an unmarked police car, with the Gaki print loosely suggesting the city/region branding. I'd go for something closer to steelies, but the options available all had treaded tires, so it's back to the go-to Cristianos.
Title: Speed Enforcer Takumi V2
Decal: Gaki
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: Polygonal
Topper: Cherry Top
Antenna: None
Description: Cristianos may be more more closer to real service vehicles, but my word do the Tunicas add another level of badassery to the game.
Title: Backup Enforcement Van
Decal: Narwhal
Wheels: Cristiano
Boost: Toon Smoke
Topper: Cherry Top
Antenna: None
Description: I won't lie when I say I got the police car idea off some tutorial video, but I did maintain a similar colour scheme as the Takumi. The Narwhal isn't a bad decal design by any means, but I can't have that in white either if I wanted the impression of a police livery, so I also went the "unmarked vehicle" route. Cristianos were used again for I chickened out of using stock Veloce.
Title: Speed Enforcer Breakout
Decal: Turbo
Wheels: Cristiano
Boost: Polygonal
Topper: Cherry Top
Antenna: None
Description: The word "FORCE" printed on the side made it a good compliment to a police car, so I tried it out.
Title: Bavarian Patrol Breakout
Decal: Turbo
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: Polygonal
Topper: Cherry Top
Antenna: None
Description: The decal paved good way to try something other than blue, and thank goodness too. Although Bavarian police cars are usually silver, I do like the use of white to compliment green much more. It's similar to Dubai's scheme, except the primary and accent colours are swapped. Sun-damaged green nails the perfect green I like, but I still am not that big of a fan with the cracks. Corroded metal at least can be interpreted as dirt from a hot pursuit.
Little Bow Cosplay
Here's a fun one. Find characters that wear a ribbon bow, match that colour with the in-game topper, and then capture their colour scheme with the rest of the colour options available. Some proved challenging to do; some work out perfectly, while some did not give off a strong impression of the character's image.
Title: Asuka Langley Soryu v1 (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Decal: Stripes
Wheels: WW5SP
Boost: Ion Green
Topper: Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: Finding red characters is still more challenging than blue. This one kinda works.
Title: Asuka Langley Soryu v2 (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Decal: MG-88
Wheels: Forest Green Sunburst
Boost: Ion Green
Topper: Little Bow
Antenna: None
Engine: Endo
Description: The red bow with orange stripes was honestly boring to look at. Using orange to compliment red is still boring even if it's MG-88, but that's partly why I brought in more green.
Title: Chitoge Kirisaki (Nisekoi)
Decal: Stripes
Wheels: Orange Sunburst
Boost: Thermal Yellow
Topper: Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: Something with a bit more pop; basic finishes, less detail, but still holds some unique identity.
Title: Sen (Granblue Fantasy)
Decal: MG-88
Wheels: Burnt Sienna OEM
Boost: Sparkles
Topper: Gret Wildcat Ears
Antenna: None
Description: Another challenging one. With the base colour being either a grey or a pale yellow, this is a stretch.
Title: Kiki (Kiki's Delivery Service)
Decal: None
Wheels: Grey Sunburst
Boost: Battle Stars
Topper: Little Bow
Antenna: None
Engine: X-Devil Mk2 V2
Description: This was the first one to be made that set off the start of the entirely series. The simplicity of Kiki's design made it extremely easy to capture that with the customizing options. I'm unsure if the use of stars as a trail is the most accurate, but this will have to be further explored. Grey Sunbursts are usually a go-to if I want something neutral that doesn't give off a different impression of the character.
Title: Koishi Komeiji (Touhou)
Decal: Stripes
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: Hypernova
Topper: Orange Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: I will admit I know nothing about the character. The trail was simply a guess that Koishi has some sort of superpower. I feel the green in her design isn't well captured with the stripes. I did contemplate on using the Wing decal to get more green into the picture, but it was going to look too much like another one I did. Perhaps this will be replaced soon. Finding colour schemes for team orange continues to be more challenging for me than blue.
Title: Minami Kotori (Love Live) V1
Decal: Shisa
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: Hearts
Topper: Forest Green Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: This one is challenging. The colour scheme is unique enough to not look like a generic scheme, but capturing the faded hair colour is where it is extremely tough. It's not fully grey, and it's not saturated enough to comfortably settle on a dark yellow. I could give up and explore another character, but I've got more than a handful of blue characters I could easily make, which is why I haven't quite given up on perfecting this green scheme. Love Live characters are known to have numerous outfits, so perhaps I'll dig around for some more to see whether I can find something that will closer match the character design with.
Title: Litchi Faye Ling (BlazBlue)
Decal: Shisa
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: Thermal Green
Topper: Forest Green
Antenna: None
Description: Like blue, there are easily many red/black character designs I could have replicated, but it also means it becomes difficult to capture that character's unique traits without thinking it looks like someone else. Litchi's green bow was the great differentiator that did it for me.
Title: Okita Souji Stage 1 (Fate/Grand Order)
Decal: Shisa
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: Sparkles
Topper: Grey Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: There were a bunch of pink/red schemes I came across, but this one seemed to pave the easiest path. I opted for the Shisa to keep the weight of the pink down. But thinking it over, perhaps I need more; something closer to 50:50 red/pink ratio. I have no idea what powers this version of Saber has, so I just defaulted to Sparkles. The black wheels that don't draw attention match her boots, even though they're actually a dark brown.
Title: Okita Souji Stage 3 (Fate/Grand Order)
Decal: Wing
Wheels: Black Neptune
Boost: Sparkles
Topper: Grey Little Bow
Antenna: None
Engine: Scarab
Description: Apparently Saber has another design from the same Fate universe, so the reason to pick out the blue team to compliment the other Sakura Saber could not be any more perfect. It's a shame there wasn't another column of greens to choose from.
Title: Artoria Pendragon Alter (Fate/Grand Order)
Decal: Stripes
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: Ion Red
Topper: Black Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: Thankfully the outfit is purple enough to justify making this scheme plausible.
Title: Tosaka Rin (Fate/Stay Night)
Decal: MG-88
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: Ion Red
Topper: Black Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: Filler scheme for a preset. Accurate colours, but boring.
Title: Stocking (Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt)
Decal: Stripes
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: Ion Blue
Topper: Halo
Antenna: None
Description: I cheated a bit by using the Halo, but I can totally go back to using a blue bow. The reason for the halo was because I wanted to pair this one up with Panty. While she doesn't sport a ribbon bow, the two of them do sport halos. I had later dropped Panty because it translated into something that didn't give off the immediate impression of her. Things worked out just fine for Stocking though.
Title: Stocking (Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt) V2
Decal: Stripes
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: Ion Blue
Topper: Cobalt Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: Just a quick update. Swapped in the bow to fit into the theme this time.
Title: Ononoki Yotsugi (Bakemonogatari)
Decal: Wing
Wheels: White Sunburst
Boost: Toon Smoke
Topper: Orange Little Bow
Antenna: None
Engine: Dominus
Description: I was reluctant at first since it's a hat she wears, but the scheme looks decent overall, and at least it's not red.
Title: Yurippe (Angel Beats)
Decal: Wing
Wheels: White Sunburst
Boost: Thermal Green
Topper: Lime Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: The result is fairly unusual and lacks a lot of white to balance out the red, but that's the problem with sailor uniforms. Perhaps if I had done blue over red, that would give a closer sense of her image, but that's another team blue slot I wouldn't want to use up. Quite an interesting colour combo, but I may scrap it.
Title: Ariel v1 (Little Mermaid)
Decal: Shisa
Wheels: White Sunburst
Boost: Bubbles
Topper: Sky Blue Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: Finding an opportunity outside anime was super. It's possible I could have used the Flame decal to make a more obvious reference to her hair, but Shisa sports most of the red in the back and that seems to make more sense.
Title: Ariel v2 (Little Mermaid)
Decal: Shisa
Wheels: White Neptune
Boost: Bubbles
Topper: Sky Blue Little Bow
Antenna: None
Engine: X-Devil MK2 v2
Description: Updated the colours and change the wheels to something less busy.
Title: Huang Ling Yin - Shenlong
Decal: MG-88
Wheels: WW5SP
Boost: Thermal Purple
Topper: Saffron Little bow
Antenna: None
Description: Like this more than the one I did for Charlotte.
Title: Huang Ling Yin - Shenlong v2
Decal: MG-88
Wheels: Orange Sunburst
Boost: Standard Purple
Topper: Saffron Little Bow
Antenna: None
Trail: N/A
Engine: Octane ZSR V2
Description: Wanted to bring out more orange. Had Orange Neptunes for a while which was more appropriate, but the Neptunes don't bring out bright colours. So it might make more sense to interpret this as an original non-cosplay arrangement.
Title: Yaygu Jubei (Hyakka Ryouran)
Decal: Dragon Lord
Wheels: White Sunburst
Boost: Ink
Topper: Black Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: The show largely uses a warm overtone for its colour palette, so I kept that in by dialing down the yellow's intensity. The Ink is perfect for resembling the ink splatter effects when her powers are revealed.
Title: Ling Xiaoyu (Tekken)
Decal: Shisa
Wheels: White Sunburst
Boost: Thermal Yellow
Topper: Orange Bow
Antenna: None
Description: This was a bit of a stretch as she has no bows, but it's still hair accessories.
Title: Ling Xiaoyu (Tekken)
Decal: Shisa
Wheels: Black Neptune
Boost: Standard Yellow
Topper: Orange Little Bow
Antenna: None
Trail: N/A
Engine: OEM-B V2
Description: Made a change as I felt there was too much white.

Engine: Breakout Type-S v2
Description: Tis a real darn shame the white turns out to be a silver at best. It's really too bad the bright colours don't turn out like they do on Sunburst wheels.
Title: Devil Homura (Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica)
Decal: Wing
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: Thermal Purple
Topper: Little Bow
Antenna: None
Description: Despite not liking to rely on black as the accent colour, it makes perfect sense to me to do so in this case.
Title: Devil Homura (Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica)
Decal: Wing
Wheels: Black Tunica
Boost: Standard Purple
Topper: Little Bow
Antenna: None
Engine: Octane ZSR v2
Description: Changed to the Tunicas for more class
Gulf Livery
Thankfully, there was a real car livery out there that could be easily captured with the game's two-tone colour options. Most liveries sporting a third or fourth make it next to impossible to capture that here without giving it the impression of something else entirely! That being said, The Gulf livery is a staple. A pale blue and vibrant orange is a lesser seen scheme in the game too.

Topper: Light Bulb

Title: Gulf Takumi V2
Decal: Reiko
Wheels: Orange Neptune
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: Updated from lesser generic wheels to something that is even more iconic to the classic Gulf livery. Also growing out of the Rubber Duckie.

Harrods Livery
After getting into the Gulf livery so easily, it would have been nice to find another fitting colour scheme that doesn't appear generic in Rocket League while satisfying the two-colour requirement for a race livery. The Harrods livery was a great choice. Very little players find an interest in complimenting yellow with green (often times it's black... or white). This was perfect, as I am a fan of the yellow McLaren F1 GTR and the later P1 GTR.

Wheels: Grey Sunburst
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: Despite not being a big fan of the car, it's the only car in the game with triple stripes that perfectly matches the Harrods stripes. So I thought I'd make it and save it here.

Other Racing Liveries
These are the other liveries I've thought of replicating.
Title: Octane Autobacs
Decal: Racer
Wheels: Black Neptune
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Trail: N/A
Engine: Takumi
Description: After the VLT, the race car livery rage has revived.
Title: Octane Raybrig
Decal: Racer
Wheels: Green Neptune
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Trail: N/A
Engine: OEM-C V2
Description: BBS wheels can be the end-all of the collection. Soon after I began seeking all Neptunes, and this 6-spoke wheel only reminded me of one childhood favourite.
Title: VLT Livery
Decal: Racer
Wheels: Grey OEM
Boost: Standard
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Trail: N/A
Engine: Endo
Description: Lemony fan-favourite race car in Macau. I dig this more than the Harrods scheme.
Title: Renown livery
Decal: Racer
Wheels: Grey Sunburst
Boost: N/A
Topper: Beret
Antenna: None
Description: I needed an immediate replacement to the Gulf Racer Alternate scheme as that one was not working out. So I googled "green livery", just to see where I could go with the new palette increase from September.
Title: Spoon Sports V1
Decal: Chaser
Wheels: Cristiano
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: Rubber Duckie
Description: When it comes to finding recognizable liveries in only two-tone schemes while still keeping a unique appearance in Rocket League, I have better luck finding liveries suitable for the blue team. For the other team though, it's a bit more challenging. While there are recognizable liveries like Marlboro or red Martini, they don't translate well into the game, for they just end up appearing like a generic livery design in the game. But then I remembered Spoon!
Title: Spoon Sports V2
Decal: Chaser
Wheels: Black Neptune
Boost: N/A
Topper: None
Antenna: Rubber Duckie
Description: Updated version. Changed the decal to better match the half blue front end. Also subbing in Black Neptunes as an interpretation to Volk wheels.

Red/Gold
Red and yellow make good companions. The Chinese culture embraces this colour combination and I'm quite taken by it.
Title: Gold Kaiju
Decal: Kaiju
Wheels: Cristiano
Boost: N/A
Topper: Light Bulb
Antenna: None
Description: The Esper has plenty of cool decal designs. Oriental tattoo designs tend to be favourable to me, so I went forward with oriental colours.
Title: Gold Dragon
Decal: Dragon Lord
Wheels: Grey Sunburst
Boost: Lightning
Topper: None
Antenna: Rubber Duckie
Description: Same idea as the Esper. Rubber Duckie in place because this colour scheme has been seen on other players. Hah.
Fantasy Sponsors
Inspired by Rockstar's Super Sours energy drink, I went ahead and made a Green Apple theme using bright colours, and later made one based off Dr.Pepper.
Title: Supersours Flute
Decal: Pegasus
Wheels: Cristiano
Boost: Ion Pink
Topper: Light Bulb
Antenna: None
Description: The second Supersours to be made. As I thought it over after completing the first Takumi, I recalled the Pegasus decal being suitable for the theme altogether, so I gave it a shot.
Title: Supersours Takumi V1
Decal: Reiko
Wheels: Alchemist
Boost: Ion Pink
Topper: None
Antenna: Rubber Duckie
Description: I really do like that Green Apple packaging by Rockstar. It has got all the colours to pop out and draw your attention, and the green/pink combo is a unique scheme amongst players, so I definitely wanted to rep this scheme. This version is not perfect. I realize that as much as I like the soft pink, the Super Sours branding uses something closer to dark magenta. And while I needed black wheels, the only thing available at the time was the Alchemist. An updated version is found below.
Title: Supersours Takumi V2
Decal: Reiko
Wheels: Black Sunburst
Boost: Ion Pink
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: This is the finished product. I have the wheels I've always wanted, and I've updated the colours to better match the branding. Also took out the duckie.
Title: Dr.Pepper Takumi
Decal: Gaki
Wheels: White Sunburst
Boost: Red Ion
Topper: None
Antenna: None
Description: Accidentally thought of this idea after the Supersours.
